But, like virtually every other team interested in Gonzalez, they wanted the Pirates to include a second player in the deal. The Astros still could trade Ensberg and use a platoon of Mike Lamb and Mark Loretta at third. Such a move, however, could leave them vulnerable at third base and center field — two difficult positions to fill — for 2008. Lamb is a free agent at the end of next season, as is second baseman Craig Biggio. Chris Burke, the leading candidate to replace Willy Taveras in center, likely will move to second after Biggio retires. 簡單的說 Diamondbacks想交易寶哥 然後把他們的Chad Tracy再賣出去 把寶哥賣出去 07調度上沒有問題 Lamb和Loretta可以platoon 但是問題在2008 Lamb會是自由球員 老帥哥也會退休 小帥弟應該會移到2B 會留下3B和CF的大洞 (我猜 CF應該會是Pence 捕手洞會更大吧 XDD) __ 不覺得現在是賣寶哥的好時間點 以寶哥去年的成績 很難賣到一個好價錢 撐到季中或許會好些 甚至表現的好就別賣了 (當然也可能完全賣不出去 XD) 現在交易賭注超大的 我們賭輸的機率比較大 ... 現在換到一個不上不下的新秀 等於是給響尾蛇拿小賭注換大賞金 就算寶哥之後真的毀了 我們也不太容易在交易中得利 --
