Suchanun Viratprasert was Thailand's heroine in their 4-1 victory over the Slovak Republic in Bangkok. After Tamarine Tanasugarn defeated Slovak substitute Magdalena Rybarikova 61 62, the Thai No. 2 scored her second victory of the weekend, 64 62 over Lubomira Kurhajcova, to seal the home triumph. There were no problems for China PR, who dropped only nine games in Sunday's three rubbers against Slovenia in Beijing.
