吉魯破處感言
Olivier Giroud hopes his first goal for the Club will be "the start of a
beautiful adventure".
吉魯希望他在阿森納的第一顆進球，會成為一段美妙旅程的開始。
The France international broke his duck in the 6-1 Capital One Cup victory
against Coventry, deftly lifting the ball over Joe Murphy after Francis
Coquelin put him through on goal.
這位法國帥哥在聯賽盃6-1對考文垂的比賽中，得到科科林的助攻，靈巧地將球挑射過
門將墨菲破網。
Afterwards, the 25-year-old admitted it was a relief to get off the mark and
believes there will be many more goals to come.
芳齡25歲的他說，能解除無法進球的魔咒真是太好了，他也相信接下來會有更多進球。
“This goal has taken the pressure off me. It’s done, I have my first goal.
But it has to be the start of a beautiful adventure," he said.
「這顆進球將我的壓力解除了。我終於破處啦。它會成為一段美妙旅程的開始。」
“Even unconsciously I was thinking about this first goal. I tried not to
think about it but my family, friends and a lot of people were talking to me
about it.
「這顆進球讓我魂牽夢縈。我試過不要去想它，但我的家人、朋友和一堆人都會跑來跟
我聊這顆進球。」
“For a striker, it’s always good to find the net again. I have an assist
already this season but it’s not like a goal. For a striker, it’s important
for the confidence. I hope many more will follow.
「對前鋒來說，一再破網的感覺是很好的。我目前有了一個助攻，但助攻跟進球還是不
一樣。進球對前鋒的信心很重要。我希望以後進球還會一直來。」
“I want to play week in, week out, find my rhythm and keep scoring. I am
convinced that with some perseverance, it will come.”
「我希望每週都能上場，找到我自己的節奏而且持續進球。我相信只要有毅力，我就能
辦到。」
Next up for Arsenal is a London derby against Chelsea at Emirates Stadium on
Saturday, and Giroud says that spirits are high going into the lunchtime
kick-off.
接下來槍手要主場對車車，吉魯說現在隊內士氣高昂。
“[The Coventry result] was the perfect win before Chelsea, a very important
game. It brings a lot of confidence for me but also for the team,” he said.
「在對車車前取得這場聯賽盃大勝，堪稱完美，這是場非常重要的比賽。它為我與球隊
都帶來了許多信心。」
“Now, we need to think about the league. It’s a massive game and I hope it
will come our way.”
「現在我們該放眼聯賽了。這是場重要的比賽，我希望劇本會照我們的方式演出。」
