His bone was sticking through the skin and his leg was in an : 'L' shape. Keith Bringley 說：當我們脫下了他的襪子後，可以看到受傷部位呈現開放式骨折， 他整隻腿扭曲成【L】型 開放式骨折：凡骨折時，合併有覆蓋骨折部位的皮膚及皮下軟組織損傷破裂， 　　　　　　使骨折斷端和外界相通者，稱為開放性骨折。 : "It had looked like a straightforward break but he was in too much pain for : an ordinary break. 即使看起來好像很普通，但是骨頭看似是直接受力斷裂。 : "We administered a painkiller and they had to get a translator out on to the : pitch because the lad doesn't speak English. 我們馬上給他打了劑止痛針，但是很明顯我們需要名翻譯，因為他不太會說英文。 : "We put a vacuum splint on it to immobilise him and gave him oxygen once he : was on the stretcher. 我們用夾板將他的腳固定住，並且在擔架來時給了他氧氣罩供他呼吸。 : "We knew it was serious because he went straight by ambulance to the Selly : Oak trauma unit while normal football injuries go from here to Heartlands : Hospital in Birmingham." 我們知道傷勢很嚴重，因為他第一時間就送到了Selly Oak醫療單位去治療，一般足球 的運動傷害是送位於伯明翰的Heartlands醫院。 : Sky match director Grant Best, who made the decision not to show a replay of : the injury to viewers, said: "The reaction of Cesc Fabregas told me it was a : bad injury so I quickly looked at the replay. David Busst是Coventry City的DF，在一次作客曼聯的比賽中，因為與當時曼聯的DF Denis Irwin相撞，造成脛骨與腓骨嚴重開放性骨折。(http://0rz.tw/ed3Jd) : The leg break was so bad that the bone pierced the skin and Busst's blood had : to be cleared from the pitch. 斷腿是很嚴重的傷勢，會造成碎骨刺穿皮膚，那次Busst甚至必須要用樹酯止血。 : He never played professionally again. United goalkeeper Peter Schmeichel, who : witnessed the injury, required counselling afterwards. 傷後痊癒的他再也沒有恢復以往的狀態，曼聯守門員Peter Schmeichel當時目擊了整個 過程，事後也去收驚。 : Our thoughts are with Eduardo and his family.
