It is Matchday Six and Arsene Wenger’s side need only a point in Portugal to win Group G. However they have travelled here without Thierry Henry. The 29-year-old is Arsenal’s captain, top-scorer and talisman. However he faces a few weeks out with a sciatic nerve problem. Even if he was fit Henry would not be playing in this game. He picked up his third booking of the campaign in the 3-1 win over Hamburg a fortnight ago. His suspension means others must take the mantle. “I'm confident the younger players can come through this spell,” said Wenger on the eve of the game. “Ideally we want Henry to be there but we have Adebayor, Van Persie, Walcott.
