'Unfortunately, I have to recognise that, yes, he's going to leave. Boca will sell Tevez at the end of the year, although our idea is that he should leave in June 2005,' Macri told an Argentine radio station. Macri said it had still not been decided which club would sign the 20-year-old, a full international who top-scored with eight goals as Argentina won the Olympic gold medal in Athens in August after helping them reach the Copa America final in Peru in July. 'There are many clubs asking for him, many candidates like Bayern Munich, Atletico Madrid and clubs in Russia and Ukraine,' Macri said on Saturday. Macri, who has turned down a ￡9million offer from Bayern, will not consider bids lower than ￡10 million, the Buenos Aires daily La Nacion said. A scout for the German club was at Boca's 1-1 draw with Banfield at their Bombonera ground on Wednesday, La Nacion said. Tevez, however, favours a move to Spain. Tevez, who helped Boca win South America's Libertadores Cup in 2003 and reach this year's final, has been granted a week's rest by his club after missing out on a break in mid-year and suffering from exhaustion. He was flying to the Caribbean. 'Carlos can't carry on and asked for the rest. He's our ace of spades and the squad know that, it's an SOS that a lad of 20 has asked for,' Boca coach Miguel Angel Brindisi said. Tevez is also tired of the media attention he is getting in Argentina not only over his football exploits but also because of his liaison with a top model. Boca have struggled in recent matches in the Argentine Apertura championship and were looking to end a run of two games without victory at Argentinos Juniors on Sunday. They are third in the standings, five points behind leaders Velez Sarsfield although one ahead of arch-rivals and champions River Plate, who were at home to San Lorenzo on Sunday, two weeks before their big derby. --
