People don't usually gather as a house is under construction, and fawn over and flatter the foundation - except perhaps those who built it. They may be more inclined to get excited over fancy arched windows, a kitchen with porcelain tile and upscale appliances, and so on. But the foundation of that house won't garner the same level of attention. However, without it, the house would not stand. You are now in the process of building a foundation yourself in an endeavor. This isn't the exciting part, perhaps, but you're doing an excellent job.
