AVG LinkScanner的 Search-Shield、Surf-Shield 這兩個東東和 AVG付費版才有的 Web Shield差別在哪裡? 如果使用者安裝了 AVG LinkScanner會有所謂的『網頁防護』功能嗎?? Search-Shield actually checks the search results on search engines such as Google, Yahoo etc to see if they have been reported as malware related. It isn't an active scan, its a lookup type of protection to see if the returned link has been found to be a risk. Surf-Shield actually checks the webpages themselves for known exploits, phishing and those types of threats. Web-Shield, part of the pro/paid versions actually tests the files themselves. So this is one of the many advantages the paid products provide over the basic protection the Free version has.
