標題[情報] Morales to have surgery on broken left leg

X-rays revealed a fracture of Kendry Morales’ lower left leg. Surgery will be
required to repair the fracture and will be performed by Dr. Phil Kwong (foot
and ankle specialist at the Kerlan-Jobe Clinic) Sunday in Los Angeles.
It is too early to set a return date for Morales but the recovery is likely
to take months, not weeks and Morales could miss the remainder of the 2010
season.
Morales was leading the Angels in batting average (.290), home runs (11),
total bases (94) and RBI (39). Morales was the only Angel to appear in each
of their first 51 games this season.
UPDATE: Look for Morales to go on the DL Sunday and Robb Quinlan to be
promoted from Triple-A Salt Lake where he was hitting .253 with no home runs
and 5 RBI in 23 games (11 at first base)
