We are looking into hiring a postdoc working on the hybridization between different species (with fish background preferred, but not required) and how it would impact the wild population. The study may also include the sperm preservation. Please contact Tien-Chieh Hung ([email protected]) if interested. <POSITION DESCRIPTION> The Fish Conservation and Culture Laboratory (FCCL, https://fccl.ucdavis.edu/) is seeking a postdoctoral scholar to work on the sperm preservation and competition focusing on an endangered fish species, Delta Smelt Hypomesus transpacificus. Successful candidate will be involved in the study mainly focus on, but not limit to, 1) develop the sperm preservation methods and 2) study the hybridization among species. <QUALIFICATIONS> PhD degree in Animal Science, Aquacultural Engineering or a related field.
