Post-doctoral Fellow (Ref: PDF/CSENIE/0314) Centre for Special Educational Needs and Inclusive Education The Centre for Special Educational Needs and Inclusive Education (CSENIE) is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated person to support the research planning and research administration in the area of special and inclusive education. The appointee will be responsible for writing academic articles and drafting research proposals for external funding. He/she will also be responsible for conducting research studies and supervising junior research staff. The appointment will be for a period of 12 months with the possibility of renewal subject to mutual agreement. Applicants should have a doctoral degree in social sciences, education or related discipline with evidence of scholarship, research outputs and research experience. He/she should be proficient in both English and Chinese, and have excellent academic writing skills. Extensive experience in carrying out qualitative (such as focus group interviews and theme analysis) and quantitative research methods will be an advantage. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term gratuity-bearing contract. Fringe benefits include leave, medical and dental benefits.
