職缺名稱 (a) Research Scientist (b) Post-doc Research Fellow (c) Research Engineer 徵才單位 The Living Analytics Research Centre @ Singapore Management University A joint initiative between Singapore Management University (SMU) and Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) (See http://www.larc.smu.edu.sg/) 工作內容 The Living Analytics Research Centre (LARC) aims to bring together i) data mining and machine learning, ii) statistics, iii) social and behavior science, iv) management science, and v) the science of social and behavioral networks, in ways that can transform and expand computational social science so as to develop new applications that benefit individual consumers, private sector organizations, and the public sector. 徵才條件 Research Scientist/Postdoc candidates must have completed all requirements for his/her PhD degree by the time of appointment. Candidates must have relevant research and project expertise. Research Engineer candidate must have completed a good undergraduate or master degree in computer science, computer engineering, information technology & systems, or applied mathematics/statistics, and have research, project, or industry experience. We are looking for people with skills and experience in one or more of the following areas: - Machine learning, data mining - Statistics, especially as applied to machine learning, data mining, graph mining, time series, and dynamic systems - Analysis of large social network and/or social media data sets - Agent-based models and simulations, optimisation, and real-time decision support - Mobile Systems and Prototypes - Strong software and systems skills, and experience with building, testing and scaling R&D prototype systems 薪資範圍 Salary for these positions will be based on the candidate's relevant experience and qualifications.
