Scheduled to open in September 2009, King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) is a graduate-level research university. The KAUST Catalysis Center (KCC) is one of the major research units at KAUST equipped with the best state-ofthe- art instruments in 4000 sq. meters laboratories to be a worldleading node for the establishment of a multidisciplinary approach to “catalysis by design”. The homogeneous catalysis laboratories are seeking applications for postdoctoral positions at the KCC (starting date: 1st Sept. 2009 or later). The successful candidate will have expertise in olefin polymerizations, synthetic organometallic chemistry, hydrogenation, C-H bond functionalization, or computational modeling for transition metal catalysis. Strong communication and writing skills and team-work spirit are essential. Highly self-motivated individuals are encouraged to apply.
