標題Re: [情報] 英國內排名 THE“Table of Tables”2014

有個問題想請教各位前輩
有些學校似乎在英國本土排名都不錯
但到了全球性排名時卻又表現不佳
比方說surrey,最近在全英排名時都是前二十,衛報甚至排第八
高於Birmingham,但在世界排名時卻都是在兩百名以後
甚至Times Higher Education還排350-400
反觀Birmingham雖然在本土排名遜於Surrey,但世界排名基本上是在前150大內
我知道每份排名各有依據,只能做參考用
但對於這種情形還是很好奇
不知道有人知道原因嗎
