Get the DVR-Explorer from here:

I had to use the older version to work with my DDR-3000R.
After you upload your files from the recorder to your computer,
select one or all of the files in the part for your computer.
Under File in the top menu, it has the option to convert dvf to wav.
Then, you can convert it to mp3 with any software.
