City have signed Roma midfielder David Pizarro on loan for the rest of the
season.
The 32-year-old Chile international renews his links with Roberto Mancini,
who was his manager at Inter Milan when they won the Serie A title together
in 2006.
Holding midfielder Pizzaro has made only seven appearances for Roma this
season but clearly falls into the Patrick Vieira category for the Blues boss'
title push.
He has won two Italian Cups and the Super Cup since joining Roma in 2006.
