Salvatore Landolina rates the individual performances. Roma Doni - 6.5: The Brazilian shot stopper was a spectator for large parts of the game as he was hardly troubled by Livorno. However he did make a couple of important saves throughout the match. Cicinho - 6.5: An excellent display by Cicinho, he never stopped running and his passing was top notch. He was all over the pitch and was a constant threat down the right. Mexes - 6.0: Another solid game by the French man. Always alert and he kept the backline together as his side dominated the game. Juan - 6.5: A good display by the Brazilian stopper. Worked hard to keep Tavano at bay and he always looked comfortable at the back. Tonetto - 7.0: One of Roma’s best players on the evening. He was superb down the left and his passing across the pitch was sublime. Never stopped working for his side. De Rossi - 6.5: Always alert and in control and got himself into those dangerous positions which have to goals for him, however he wasn’t so lucky this time. Pizarro - 6.5: Played in his usual centre midfield role and was effective. Never came unstuck and he broke up the play, won possession and got things going for his side. Taddei - 6.5: Another good display by Taddei. He came close to scoring with a well struck volley and his link up play with Cicinho on the right was excellent. Perrotta - 6.5: The world cup winner played in a more advanced role and he created several good openings for his side, he tracked back when needed too. Totti - 7.0: Had to come off with an injury to his right knee, however he was pure class up until that point. An outstanding first half by Er Pupone, he kept showing his magic and he could have easily bagged a brace had it not been for Livorno goalkeeper Marco Amelia. Vucinic - 7.0: Had a magnificent first half and he should have been on the scoresheet. This player is easily a rival for Zlatan Ibrahimovic, he showed similar strengths to the Sweden international and he had a great game. Subs: Mancini 6.0, Panucci 5.5 Livorno Amelia - 8.0: The Azzurri number two was sublime, he made some world class saves to keep his side in the game as they rescued a point late on. He was absolutely brilliant in goal. Grandoni - 6.0: the defender coped well at the back and he did enough to keep Roma at bay and he made some great tackles too. Knezevic - 6.0: Was always wide awake and his good defensive skills as well as some common sense made life difficult for the Giallorossi in the final third. Melara - 6.5: The stopper enjoyed a good game and he looked comfortable throughout. Worked hard for his side and was a rock at the back. Galante - 7.0: The veteran and former Inter defender was excellent in defence tonight. He made some brilliant challenges and he was also good in the air. Pulzetti - 6.0: Was effective in midfield and was always on hand to break up the play. His passing was accurate and he worked like a horse. Bergvold - 5.5: A disappointing performance by the middle man, he never really got into the game and he looked out of his depth when under pressure. Fillippini - 6.0: A solid game by Fillipini, he controlled the midfield and he was involved with everything when his side went forward. A good showing all round. Pasquale - 6.5: A brilliant game by the left winger. Always a threat down the right and he made a super tackle on Taddei to keep his side in the fray. De Vezze - 6.5: Was effective playing in a tre quartista role and he was the link man between midfield and attack. Played some great football which created the odd chance. Tavano - 5.5: The former Valencia man was a big disappointment on the night. He was hardly involved in the game and he seemed to appear and re-appear every ten minutes or so.
