The Seoul native joined the the group in 2011, along with founding members Park Cho-rong, Yoon Bo-mi, Jeong Eun-ji, Kim Nam-joo, Oh Ha-young, and Hong Yoo-kyung. The same year, Apink released their debut EP, Seven Springs of Apink. Naeun made her acting debut in 2012, playing the teenage Hae-in in the historical drama series The Great Seer.
