The Brazilian frontman, who cost Barcelona €15 million, had signed for Benfica on loan during the summer, but was looking for a new club to flourish after failing to make his mark at the Estadio da Luz. With the Eagles, Keirrison did not score a single goal in official games, which relegated him to the periphery at the Portuguese club following the winter signings of Alan Kardec and Eder Luis. The 21-year-old will sign a two-year loan contract with Fiorentina, who have secured the option to make it a permanent deal, following a routine medical with the Viola.
