Toni sensationally opened the door to a possible transfer yesterday when he conceded that he has a few problems to resolve with the club. But the outfit have insisted on Tuesday that they are unaware of any reason why last season’s Serie A top scorer would be leaving. “There are no problems for us,” sporting director Pantaleo Corvino told reporters in Florence this afternoon. “Toni is untransferable and the club will not be selling him. The player has a contract with us which he must respect.” Toni is believed to be looking for a new improved contract after scoring an astonishing 31 Serie A goals last term. But the Viola are seemingly unwilling to meet his demands as he only joined the Tuscan side last summer from Palermo.
