Palermo rue Toni sale Palermo chief Maurizio Zamparini has admitted he made a massive mistake by selling Luca Toni to Fiorentina. “I’ll regret that decision for some time to come yet,” he told Radio Kiss Kiss on Monday evening. Despite scoring 50 League goals in two seasons for the Sicilian outfit, Palermo accepted an ?8m bid for the player in August. That has proved to be a costly mistake as the forward currently tops the scorers’ charts with 23 goals and will lead the Italy attack at the World Cup Finals. "If I could turn back the clock then I wouldn’t give Toni to Fiorentina,” the fiery President conceded today. “His departure was an error of valuation by the technical staff and I was wrong to allow the transfer to be completed. “I’ll still regret what I did in another 20 years.
