Coach Wahyu Hidayat Jati ready to lead rebuilding Indonesia in tough Asia Cup Qualifiers group 25/06/2019 NEWS 2 MIN TO READ JAKARTA (Indonesia) – Indonesia hasn't participated in the FIBA Asia Cup since 2011, but they are close to making their way back to the biggest stage in the continent. The FIBA Asia Cup 2021 Qualifiers Draw revealed the teams that they will have to go through to in order to make their return. 印尼自2011年以来不曾参加亚洲盃(及前身亚锦赛)，希望能经由2021亚洲盃资格赛完成 重返亚洲盃的目标。 Recently named head coach, Wahya Hidayat Jati, realizes that the path to qualification won’t be easy, especially being drawn against two of the best teams in the region. 刚发布的新任国家队总教练 Wahya Hidayat Jati 表示这任务是艰难的，要对抗2支亚洲 最好的球队之一。 “We are in the same group with Philippines and Korea,” Coach Wahyu says. “ As we know they have strong tradition in basketball. They almost always participate in every basketball event in Asia. Since basketball has already become a sports industry in those country, Philippines and Korea have a higher level of competition compared to Indonesia.
