I was really concerned with k rate potential for this team before season started. I wish they would try things with some of these guys. I would love to see Hardy bunt more and hit to right center. Until he starts doing this he will have problems with outside pitches. Davis doesn't bother me so much cause his OBP not to bad. Don't understand why Reynolds has such a good eye but swings and misses so much. None of these guys crowd plate and shorten swing with 2 strikes. They swing harder. Lew Ford is a good story . Great throw. But Chavez was 2-4 Saturday. Why not play him again? Both those doubles he had amazing throws 3.)Wieter's is an animal. 4.)Omar Quintanilla is making a serious case to be the starting 2nd baseman.
