标题[微分] 绝对值函数递增递减

Find the interval of the function where it is increasing and decreasing
f(x)=|x^2-1|
解答是:
(-∞,-1),(0,1)递减
(-1,0),(1,∞)递增
我想问的是
f'(x) = |2x|
为什麽还要考虑1,-1?
递增递减不是考虑一阶导数=0的地方就好了?
