1992 movie. Shot in colour, but released in black &
white. Directed by Alexander Rockwell. Won the Grand
Jury Prize at Sundance.
It's the story of Adolfo (Steve Buscemi), who has a
500 page script. He's broken and finds Joe (Seymour
Cassel), who says will produce his film. Adolfo is in
love with his neighbour Angelica (JB) and intend to
cast her for the movie.
The performances are excellent. And Jim Jarmusch plays
a part.
I liked the story - the final scene is beautiful, the
editing and JB's spanish accent is just perfect!
I ripped the special features of the DVD. JB's
interview is great! She tells a lot of interesting
things about making the movie. I love when she says
she started vacuuming like crazy when they lost the
financing and the part she's on the phone with her mom
and then with Alex!
