What is the difference between 'when' and 'while'?
Difference can be made on the grounds of two events happening either
simultaneously or sequentially…
When is used when two events are to be described happening one after the
other for example I picked up the phone when it rang in this sentence phone
rang first and then it was picked up
Similarly,
While is used when events are happening simultaneously or at the same time
for example I was cooking while my sister was reading newspaper in the
sentence two events i.e cooking and reading were being done at the same time
or simultaneously
So this was one of the differences between these two words….
