标题[问题] on Sundays/ on Sunday 及 on the weekend/on weekends

英文中可以用现在简单式表示一个习惯行为
是否习惯行为一定要搭配上像是on Sundays, on weekends这种表示"每个..."的时间呢?
我的疑问在於: 如果现在简单式可以表示习惯行为,那麽搭配一般的时间,
不也是表示这个行为例行性在这个时间发生的意思吗?
例如:
我在星期天看电视.
这句话可以怎麽翻译呢?
(1) I watch TV on Sundays.
(2) I watch TV on Sunday.
以上两句翻译那句对呢? 有什麽差别呢?
我只在周末打棒球.
(3) I play baseball only on weekends.
(4) I play baseball only on the weekend.
以上两句翻译哪句对呢? 有什麽差别?
另外,用在未来式时,以下这两句话有差别吗?
(5) I will go to church on the weekend.
(6) I will go to church this weekend.
