标题[问题] 国中一年级文法, there is there are的原问句

今天课堂中检讨南一版考卷
出现了一题依提示做答
题目是
There is a girl in the room.
^^^^^^ ( 造原问句 )
解答是
--> Who is there in the room?
但是,
如果我用Who去问,不是应该要回答出 Sandy is in the room.
用中文去想,
谁在房间里?
有一个女生在房间里!
如果是这样子的回答, 不是还是没回答到"谁"吗?
再来一点,
如果这一句用What is there in the room?
答句确是 There is a girl in the room.
人如果有 what去问, 是不是也怪怪的?!
换句话说,
这一题用what 或者 who 去问是不是都不对呢?
不知道大家有没有其他看法?
