An abundance of 只是以此类推罢了 也就是说这里不能想成 An abundance [of resources] 因为 An abundance of 是既定的Adj片语 表达「数量」 所以主词只有"natural resources"而已 因此应该是用have 再者 Google 後的结果 用have 的有193000 用has 的只有794 : EX : a number of plural n. plural v : the number of plural n. singular v a number of 表达的就是「数量」 也是adj 片语修饰後方主词(复数) 但是the number 表示的是「数字」 并不是例外 所以依循大大讲的 主词是 the number 所以後方单然用单数 : 但也会看到 : a great number of plural n. singular v a (great) number of 表示[数量] 所以能给例子吗？ 因为应该接复数 google 後的结果也是复数用的多 : the higher number of pural n. plural v. 一样的例子? 应该接单数 : EX : an average of plural n. plural v. 这ok 因为an average of 也是表示[数量] ex.An average of two students are absent each day. (有平均2人的量) 而 The average of 33 consecutive whole numbers is 58. (所有数的平均数) 就是用单数了 : A total of plural n. pural V. 大同小异，表示[数量] ex.A total of 300 passengers were killed in the plane crash. : EX. : the veriety of plural n. singular V : a veriety of plural n. plural v. same:) 另外补充一个也很好玩的 Some of the water is evaporated. Some of the students are not happy. 这两个句子的主词都是some 只是当some 当 N时 需要靠後方的介词片语来帮忙带出单复数 Some rice is on the table.
