[p]-[b] 规则本身就有问题
是送气音与不送气音的区别
应该这麽说吧，
英文里有声无声(voicing)是 distinctive feature
所以/p/无声 /b/有声 （发音上区别方式是声带会振动）
无声子音在字首会送气，但在s後是无声不送气
中文里送气非送气(aspiration) 才是distinctive feature
也就是说 ㄅ和ㄆ差别只在送气不送气，两者皆是无声的
所以真的要理解的话
"sp" 里面那个 [p] 是贴近中文的ㄅ而不是英文的 [b]
中文里ㄅ与ㄆ相当於 sp 的"p" (unaspirated) 与 p elsewhere (aspirated)
用IPA（国际音标）注的话是 [p] 与 [ph] (h是 写在右上小小的)
又 aspiration rule 所谓的 s/p/-->[p]
但 p 在 dominant position (typically syllable initial) 是发送气 [ph]
export 重音在第二音节，也算是 dominant position
所以可能因此发 [ph]
(不妨问他如果是名词重音在第一音节时p如何念的）
至於 discover 怎解...我就不知道了 囧
我唯一能想到的是 ambisyllabification
就是说 s同时归做第一音节和第二音节.
