looking forward to their collaboration!

cos i'm luvvly im going to type in the NME article for you all:
first things first tho, the picture has brett standing, hand on chin
in blue jeans and black shirt, bernard (looking pretty cool it has
to be sed) sitting in jeans, turqoise shirt and guitar under his arm,
amp in the background. it's posed.
anyway, the article:
SUEDE UNSPLIT!
Here's the picture Suede fans never thought possible - Brett Anderson
and Bernard Butler reunited and working on their first new music since
1994.
NME hunted down Anderson and Butler, and found them in a north London
rehearsal studio where they've been putting together a new band. The
duo have a brand new drummer and bassist, and have demoed 18 new songs
for an album that's due out towards the end of the year.
A friend on Anderson's told NME: "It's all going well. They started
writing in January and they demoed 18 songs. Rather than be called
Anderson and Butler their new band will have a name but it's not
confirmed yet. They will start proper recording very soon. When they
were in Suede they were at their most creative in the studio, so
everyone's very optimistic."
NME understands that the new group are in the process of talking to
various record labels about a deal and could even be planning impromptu
live performances to try out the songs.
Butler quit Suede during the recording of their classic second album
'Dog Man Star' in 1994. The group went on to release three more studio
albums before splitting last year after their last effort, 'A New Morning'
, flopped. Soon afterwards, NME revealed that Anderson picked up the phone
to Butler in an attempt to get his "demon back".
Suede will release a rarities compilation for fanclub members later this year.
↑这是啥鬼啊??????
(the end)
i've cuppla observations:
"18" not 15 songs, wahey!
"impromptu live performances"!!!!
"rarities compilation" ????!!! bollocks, surely? reckon this is a lazy cut' n
paste job of some old background by a typically shit NME 'journalist'.
(我认同这样的说法 =.=)
also the same NME mentions Suede 3 other times:
- 'refugees' being on their list as has been pointed out
- brett and mat osman spent last saturday watching the crystal palace beat
west ham in the first division playoff in a west london pub.
- the killers' song 'Jenny Was a Friend of Mine' sounding like "Suede-esque
tragi-pop"
that's more mentions in one issue than in the last 5 years.
