UIUC的信也是类似说法 To all International Students and Scholars, ISSS has just been informed that effective immediately, the Department of State has suspended issuing new entry visas for all F, J and M visa classifications. This is due to difficulties in communication between SEVIS and the Department of State’s Consular database. Please note that this does not affect any currently valid entry visas, or any current visa status you hold. However if you are planning to travel outside the US and require a renewed entry visa to return, you may wish to alter you travel plans until this issue is resolved. The Department of State is working to resolve this matter as quickly as possible, however no timeframe has been established at this time. ISSS will provide any updates as we receive them. ※ 引述《stevee (飞阿~~~)》之铭言： : 今天收到学校IO来信 : 今年申请学校或要renew visa的同学要注意一下 : The Department of State has temporarily halted the issuance of : ALL F and J visas at ALL US Embassies and Consulates due to : technical difficulties.
