Position description: A Postdoctoral Research Associate position in Biophotonics is available at the University of Maryland College Park. Research areas are biomedical optical imaging techniques including optical coherence tomography (OCT) and fluorescence molecular imaging (FMI). Required expertise: Ph.D. in physics, electrical engineering, optical engineering, or biomedical/bioengineering. Hand-on experience on optical and electronic instrumentation and strong programming skills (Matlab, Labview, and C++) are required. Prior research expertise on biophotonics imaging techniques such as OCT, diffuse optical imaging, and non-linear microscopy are preferred.
