我刚收到UCSD graduate coordinator的信
现在真的觉得申请文件的审核是与有无funding分开的...
Dear XXX:
Many thanks for the quick reply. The Committee ranked your application very
highly in a process that required us to make very difficulty decisions. There
is therefore no obstacle to admitting you now that we are aware of your
fellowship(s). And so it is with great pleasure that I inform you that you
have been admitted to the graduate program of the Sociology department.
You will receive further information from Emmanuel dela Paz (or "Manny" as we
call him) on Tuesday. Meanwhile, permit me to congratulate you on your
admission to our program. We hope to hear shortly when exactly you will be
joining us!
