恩 工作上需要目前在翻译天文学的东西
谈到行星状星云的恒星风
the knots and strings of compressed gases--made mainly of
hydrogen, helium, carbon, and oxygen--become visible to astronomers
as the ultraviolet radiation from the core xcites the gas
and causes it to glow
紧密的气体大部分由氢氦碳氧组成
受到核心发出的紫外线激发而发亮
所以天文学家才观测的到
我的问题是knots and strings到底是什麽？
因为我从一些行星状星云的图上也看不出有任何knots或strings
