Barker was injured in a plane crash in South Carolina in September in which four people died. The drummer has since sued Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co, which owned the Learjet which crashed, and an aeroplane maintenance company, reports Fox News. He is seeking $25,000 (￡17,000) in damages for pain and suffering, disfigurement, loss of earnings plus medical and legal expenses. Thelma Martin Still, the mother of Charles Monroe Still Jr, Barker's bodyguard who was killed in the crash, is joining the drummer in the lawsuit. She is suing for damages including grief and sorrow and funeral expenses.
