Is it protection or betrayal
To shift voices and faces
As an animal strikes for survival?
When the world is battling between lies and truths
Who can you trust except the old?
Yet the day is new and love is gone
Before you are disappointed
Before your hope is destroyed
Pick a color, be a chameleon
