Spring, spring comes like a fit of rain, in a hurry, in one night,
When the soil still dry
And the creeks still frozen
When the sun still faint
And the clouds over the sky
Spring comes like a sprinter,
Dashing from the faraway reign of your winter dream
Suddenly, suddenly prance
Through the silent mountains
Through the starless sea
Through sleeping constellations
To the present dawn of February
Spring, spring, spring may come
Sooner than we know
And go even faster
