Throughout the livelong day
I bury myself with work
Tasks to accomplish
Assignments to finish
And in suffocating the spirit
Inter myself
And numb the soul
but in the dead of night
my heart suddenly beats alive
feeling flows into my fingertips
and i am spirited away
by the world within my mind
