You thought it was a sign
You didn't tell me the details
You couldn't remember it right
'Rest assured, it was nothing sexy.'--
You said to me with pride
I didn't ask if it was dry but
Since you mentioned the s-word
I had some doubts in mind
'May I ask you something?’
'Nope.’
'May I...'
'Nope.'
'Okay, I got it.'--
I really did
(I was at your bedside, remember?)
