"Life" is the first peom I wrote, and "The Ocean of Your Eyes" came after it. Of course they are both very immature, but I still love them because they are my children after all. I want to share them with you. :) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Life Like in the earliest beginning, The brutal burst of flesh with blood, We cry over our birth, Bewailing the life that needn't bud. As we know it inherently That life means endless suffering, Rife with every catastrophe－ The darkest one has always itself been. In it we grow, and grudge, and groan Illness, business, loneliness That we all have to live with, Then broken down into pieces. Nothing in life would entertain Souls with no gain; Taught by nature or rules anyway, Indeed we do gain－ Love, wit, and wealth That would someday, without doubt End up in lost Or in perpetual drought. The thirst, the lost, the chilling cold, The true happiness never-showed Compose where we must go－ Such a road. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The Ocean of Your Eyes An instant flash in your eyes From the deep and dark did rise; So soon it snuffed out For the self-restraint it could't rout; Then again the turning hazy Of your eyes, such complexity－ There's passion that does appear In such eyes that never glare nor tear, Always controled, always disguised, Seem easy, but never easily surmised; Like the ocean, so mysterious and fathomless, Turbulent torrents never show on the smooth surface. But yet for sure I feel it－ Although never does your self-restraint seem to quit－ All the instant flashes at me you occasionally bat Reflect the best of the truth that In the deep mind of understanding and faith, Love do exist and in it I bathe! p.s. alright, just jeer at me as you want to!
