When someone asks you what it's like
to never be satisfied
You reply "why me?"
then "why now?"
and finally "why not?"
You describe the satisfaction
of not being satisfied
As a whisper to the thunder
a candle to the blind
There's always something else
that you don't mean to leave behind
Some people laugh, some people cry
Some lie in between---
not being satisfied
