标题[创作] My Muse

Fire burning in my heart
Yet yours has been doused
And my passion goes unrequited.
My rhymes are taken from me;
When will they be given back?
By starlight I envision
A different future
Alternate realities
Place of the mind
Home of the heart
By daylight, though, the rhythm
Slows; the dreams, they dissipate
Into air full of comforting,
companionship, camaraderie
And I find, that my rhymes
have come back to me.
