Young poet's three-day kingdom
With fervent rebellious talent,
Merely dominated the eyes wetting palace of art
Was soon expelled by Gods
To the steppe of death
Then left the indelible era name in vain
For those greyheaded palace-maid like critics
Mediocre yet seasoned
To tremblingly tidy up
The room of Chairil Anwar
