fancy : the process of assembling and juxtaposing images without necessarily
showing how they are related
imagination: takes a selection of images but moudls them. shapes them
accorgin to a central guiding principle.
这是我老师上课做的定义
其实我想Aegisth 跟Chialism已经说得很清楚了
用譬喻来说的话
fancy就是摆出一堆可能很惊人 很漂亮的意象 但意象之间没有关联
imagination 也是拿出意象 但意象经过形塑後 之间是有关联的 而整体形成了意义
coleridge本身也没有花很多篇幅在讲解这两者的不同
如果还是无法理解
可能就是历练的问题了
我想如果你是个写作者
或许就能更了解
fancy 跟imagination的分别主要是在
第四章最後 跟 十三章coleridge有讨论
的确很难理解
里面的字都很难
我跟我的老师在讨论的时候
老师说了一句非常好玩的话:
Coleridge himself is a writer who sometimes does not KNOW what he is talking
about...
