Sinful elaboration tempting the lads
Mournful conscience shunning the dare
Unintentional demurral evoking the blare
All in grief
Either the temptress or the prey
Hopelessly waiting for being slayed
Affections really happened and neither would be blessed
Persecuted in the name of witchcraft
Original vice came about eventual grace
Errors flipped the dire over with heavenly mercy
Eternity traded true love with mortality
Fair deal indeed
