（大概没有人在乎但……）我查到了，
Epidermal Macabre 出版於 1941 年的 Open House，
而 The ABC of Reading 则是 1934 年的书。
所以应该是指 Macbeth 的海：
Whence is that knocking?
How is't with me, when every noise appals me?
What hands are here? ha! they pluck out mine eyes.
Will all great Neptune's ocean wash this blood
