vision的概念从中世纪就开始出现。
中世纪的人们由於有虔诚的信仰（异教或基督教），
他们相信人的灵魂可以看见超越现实的东西，
Blake他的诗作其实有透露出他似乎拥有visionary的能力，
因为他有致力探讨evil与goodness的概念，
此外，Blake的版画也具有某种visionary的特质。
