Most of the population, especially in the rural areas, arm themselves and form militia to repel their opponents. The exact deatails of this are sketchy however. As 13-year old, in 2011, Titor himself fought with the "Fighting Diamondbacks", a shotgun infantry of Florida, for at least four years. However, the ferocity of the civil war meant that Titor spent most of this time in hiding instead. Titor personally saw hundreds die horrific deaths.
