He began his academic career at National Taiwan University, where he earned his MD degree before pursuing a Master's degree in biomedical informatics from Harvard Medical School in 2017. He then went on to receive postdoctoral training at Massachusetts General Hospital, developing deep-learning models with applications in medical imaging. Dr. Hu subsequently joined Verily Life Science, an Alphabet company, as a data scientist, where he further honed his skills in data science and the healthcare industry.
